Woot. 3

Day 3. Up to day 3. Starting to run out of post titles.

So today was a similar day to yesterday, except that I was at home for lunch so I had to resist buying KFC for lunch on the way home (because I was in town, hadn't even had a snack since breakfast time and was absolutely starving.)

But I resisted, drove the 15 mins home fairly quickly and cooked up a healthy, warm lunch. See, when it's winter time, and it's rainy, cold, and fairly miserable, I like the hot, fatty foods. Which is really bad. Mostly because they offer comfort. Comfort from food. I'm pretty sure food isn't meant to be a comfort, but a necessity to fuel the body. Anyway. My healthy lunch was a homemade pizza that I made up on the spot. It was delicious. Fairly simple.

1 lavish bread, bit of tomato sauce, spinach, semi-dried tomatoes and some fetta cheese, cooked underneath the grill for about 10 mins. Outside was crunchy, middle was soft, just how I like it.

Normally I don't like cooking because it takes so long and you have to do all the preparing and blah blah blah, I don't like to do all that. The actual process of cooking can be fun, it's just the preparing I find hard to deal with. But this was so simple, that I hardly thought about it all. So today's day looks like so far:

Breakfast: - 1/4 cup rolled oats, 1/2 my yoghurt cup and handful of sultanas all mixed in together.
- Hot chocolate.

Lunch: - Half my pizza.
- 1 scrambled egg.
- 1 diet 375ml coke.

Dinner: Will most likely be the rest of my pizza, as I have to work tonight, and when I get home, I wont want to be preparing dinner.

Yes, I did go to the gym. Was also planning to do yoga this morning, but with a class starting at 9, that didn't happen. (I also ate my breakfast at uni, while waiting for the lecture to start.)

I'm starting to feel a bit more tired, with the early starts, but I know that if I get at least 8 hours sleep, I can stick with it.

Also saw the dr. today. Mentioned that I'm planning to lose weight (told her only 20 kilos, when in reality it's going to be 30) and she reckons that I could lose 20 by Christmas if I stay dedicated to it. Also went off my contraceptive pill, because really, I don't need it. Apparently, it didn't make me gain weight, it made my appetite bigger, which in turn made me also gain weight.... as well as eating crap and not exercising.

So, yea, that's today. Now I need to go do some serious study.

Butterfly kisses,

Rosalinda, xoxo.
