Good afternoon there. How are we all? Me, you ask? I’m splendid. Simply splendid.
I finally got my Sizzix Big Shot machine today from the post office. I got it home, unwrapped it and played with it. It’s so much fun, and so convenient for cutting out tricky things. I love it. Which now means that I have spent a few good hours on Ebay to find dies for it. The dies in the shops are expensive. Especially the Sizzix brand. But the same dies on Ebay are much cheaper hence why I am spending so much time on there.
I did go to the gym today. I DID! I went and I spend 35 minutes there, 10 on the cross-trainer, 10 on the bike and 15 on the treadmill. Now, because I get severely bored when I’m at the gym, I decided to mix things up a bit. On the cross-trainer I started out easy on level 3, then at the 5 min mark, bumped it up to level 6 for a couple of mins, then back down to level 3, then for the last 45 secs, back to level 6. I did that same combination on the bike as well. On both those machines, I burned double the amount of calories for the same time frame, then before. I felt exhausted but in a good way. Then I hopped on to the treadmill. Casually sat on 5.6 for 5 mins, then bumped it up to 5.9. Then I upped the incline as well, but brought the speed back down. 110 calories burnt in 15 mins. Pretty freaking good.
Now I’ve told myself that I’m not worrying about weighing myself until next Monday. I’m just going to focus on going to the gym and eating right. Eating healthy. Then next Monday I will see how I am. I’m even contemplating just leaving it until the 1st of March and then doing a weigh-in. But I might lose motivation if I wait that long. So not sure yet. I know I’m about 92 kgs atm, so even losing 1 kilo by next Monday will be an achievement.
Ok, I’m going to go play with my new fabulous machine :)
Butterflie kisses,
Rosa, xoxo.
