Food Tracking

So I have this app on my iPod that allows me to track my food, exercise, weight, and water. I forgot that I had it until a friend told me about Sparkspeople. Anyway, basically you input what you eat and what exercise you do, blah blah blah and it tells you how many calories you've consumed and burnt off. So today I've spent the morning cleaning because I have an house inspection tomorrow and I want to pass it of course. So I inputted that I did general housecleaning and the calories I burnt were 321. 321! For doing mopping, vacuuming, washing up and tidying up the place. Wow. I'm impressed. I can forgo my walk tonight. A walk only comes in at 217 calories. Same amount of time, 30 minutes. But it's also a good idea anyway if I forgo the walk tonight. I went for one yesterday with my friend, and it was good, but tough, and my legs are a little sore today. I also know that if I start out doing exercise every single day hardcore, I'm going to quit by next week. Every second day I'll do a walk, then next week I'll go to the gym 3 times a week, as well as doing an outside walk at night (weather permitting) and then just build up from there. 

My eating is also going reasonably well. This week looks like:

Monday: Breakfast - bowl of nutri grain.
 Lunch - Salad with ham.
 Dinner - Steak and veggies.

Tuesday: Breakfast - bowl of nutri grain.
 Snack - piece of christmas cake, 1 piece shortbread, 1 large frozen coke.
 Lunch - stirfry with noodles in my new Wok. (See mum, I have been using it)
 Dinner - 6 prawns and 3 slices of pizza bread. (I was at work)

Wednesday: Breakfast - Was brunch with N. 2 pancakes, 3 pieces of bacon, maple syrup, blueberries and strawberries.
 Lunch - Chicken parmi from Subway
 Dinner - 1 pancake and 3 pieces of bacon.

Thursday: Breakfast - 2 egg omelette, 2 pieces of pineapple.
 Lunch - going to be 1 fish fillet with curly fries.
 Dinner - Chicken stir fry.


So it's not too bad. Had some hiccups along the way, but hey, that's life. Also brunch is a weekly thing, so it's allowed to be whatever.

Ok, I'm going to go get lunch and eat it and contemplate settling in to finish a episode that I started yesterday. Hope everyone's goals are going well.
